Position:                                          Workday HCM Consultant (Job Code: 1003)

Responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving for the business processes on SaaS application; design and automate the regular day-to-day transactional requests and support the system in hyper care settings; identify data integrity issues and document any issues that arise from the business users; create an effective workaround for common issues for all departments and cross functional items; perform advanced Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for hyper care period after the go-live for the modules HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Absence and Payroll; responsible for designing workday integrations for data transfers with encryption and decryption for data security; validate all data catch-up sheets and convert them into data template file used for data loads; perform mass data loading and data transfers using information security techniques for multiple nations by understanding the organizational standards with each nation; responsible for advanced security configuration administrating, and assigning and revoking access on different levels of roles over the entire organization; create new Security groups with customizations, allowing only a very limited audience within the management levels; utilize Core HCM, Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, SQL, RaaS, REST & SOAP API, HTML, CSS, XML, Jira, and MS Project to perform duties; configure the business process, which will trigger sub-processes and validate the outputs of the approval chain process; customize notifications to action and view only items for managers through all the levels in the organization; assist retail stores, distribution centers, and warehouses with the data of employees working, and manage their employee relationship planning; document Tier 1/Tier 2 level issues and present the effectiveness of workaround to business users; perform unit and regression analysis and testing on every task, and report to identify the issues created by enhancements and configuration changes; test the Half-Yearly Workday releases, and validate the updates on the modules assigned; and manage multiple levels of tenants, and test the configuration changes between all of them.

Responsible for speaking to supervisors, planning managers, and outbound management to gather requirements, identify issues, and create requests; responsible for estimation and planning, including Sprint planning, creating incidents, creating epics, stories, spikes, story point estimation, backlog maintenance, assigning tasks on Kanban board, and reporting daily status on scrum call; write programs, troubleshoot support issues, write design documents, create test plans, test executions, support UAT, create SIT and UAT environments, set up performance test environment, and monitor and support performance tests; investigate inventory sync issues between Manhattan WMS/Logpro, Manhattan WMI, Oracle Fusion and Blue Yonder and resolve them including the root cause; investigate pick release and shipment confirmation issues, finding root causes related to WMI configuration, and suggesting correct configuration to Operations; create burn down charts, correct story points, reprioritize backlog, and assist with sprint reviews; create user guides and technical documentation for users and project teams; utilize RPG, CLLE, SQL, COBOL, EDI, C#, Jira, ServiceNow, MS Project, Visio, JSP, and XML to perform duties; conduct stakeholder meetings for the OSF project, integrating both Manhattan systems into one and to extend the system to work for multiple warehouses; manage vendor discussions for label printing issues and changes, and resolve them; research label printing and missing carton and delivery issues between Fusion, SOA and WMI, finding root cause and resolving them; install Manhattan PTFs and SDNs in the system, test in non-production, obtain CAB/CR approvals, install them in production, and ensure post production verification is completed; install required code changes in all environments, getting labels certified by logistics service providers, and install them in production; research technical issues with pick release and ship confirmation XML, Fusion, database, or WMI/WMS, and resolve them; perform housekeeping on JIRA and Service Now tickets, ensuring closure and documenting issues and resolutions in the known error database; suggest ways to improve system and job performance and complete POCs; and responsible for best practices.
