Position: Workday Finance Business Analyst (Job Code: 1002)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for analyzing business requirements, methodology, and issues to improve and automate processes using Workday and other connected systems; cultivate strategic partnerships with our business partners and members of the HR Technology Team; design, configure and automate business processes to enhance the current application systems; set up compensation eligibility rules based on compensation grades and job profiles; liaise with Human Capital Management, Payroll, Absence Management and Project and Work Management, and integrate Cloud Connect for third-party payroll; monitor EIB mailbox and take new requests for mass data uploads; present new features and recommend changes and other configuration plans to all levels of business partners; convince business partners to uptake Workday features; responsible for PICOF integration, which delivers the file to the ADP only for US employees’ demographic information; perform payroll commitment accounting when the organization needs to track such; report continually whether budgeted funds can support actual payroll expenditures; responsible for merit planning and bonus processing; close commitments as part of standard year-end closing processes to ensure current and future year commitments are liquidated; identify gaps in HR operational business processes, documenting business process improvements, flow diagrams, and required system modifications; utilize Data analysis, EIB, JavaScript, Jira, Asana, C programming, HTML, AngularJS, and Android Studio to perform duties; analyze data to inform problems, create user stories, and present and evaluate design solutions; collaborate with HR team to identify and solve systems’ usability issues in the HCM module; proactively research and keep current on new Workday HCM features; work closely with business teams to strategize solutions that support short-term and long-term business objectives; work closely with developers to ensure requirements and design are well communicated and understood; execute test scripts with use of Kainos, an automated testing tool for Workday; work effectively with Workday support on escalations, bug fixes, and enhancements; create test plans for the implementation and new roll-out of new functionality; coordinate efforts to develop scenarios to be evaluated during UAT; create UAT testing schedule; host daily test status meetings for each domain being implemented; and perform Workday enhancements and security changes.

 

Location: Cumming, GA and various unanticipated locations throughout the US;

 

Salary: $86,403 per year;

Education: Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).

Training: None

Experience: One (1) year in the position above, as a Systems Engineer, or in a related occupation.

Other Requirements: Experience must include one (1) year’s use of the following: Data analysis, EIB, JavaScript, Jira, Asana, C programming, HTML, AngularJS, and Android Studio.
